Even in war, justice must prevail
Article Abstract:
The United Nations' move to name Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic and other top Bosnian Serbs as war-crime suspects could create severe tactical problems. It will hamper efforts to negotiate a peace agreement, and is a difficult stance to take when the United Nations itself is unwilling to undertake direct military intervention. It is certainly necessary to punish those responsible for atrocities, however, as failure to do so could lead to cynicism and nihilism.

Article Abstract:
Williem Waldegrave's White Paper on Science and Technology, published on May 26, 1993, aims to encourage scientists to be practical as VCRs, CD-ROM and robots are in demand. Historically the UK has always had polarity between thinking and doing.Science and technology are essential for economic performance, but brilliant innovations are rarely applied in Britain. Political promotion of science as fundamentally good encourages fragmentation.

The dreary laureate of our provincialism
Article Abstract:
Few people liked Philip Larkin as a person although his poetry is considered great. His work shows his pessimism and depression. Larkin intended to be popular as he did not believe in literary elitism. His books sell extremely well. His poems are useful to English teachers because of their direct language. They are acclaimed because they demonstrate the idea of the value of English common sense.
