The restoration of the 18th century, Grade 2 listed walled garden at Thornham Magna near Eye, England, has been made assisted with funding of 252,900 pounds sterling from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Some of the restoration work is being undertaken by students with learning difficulties from Otley Agricultural and Horticultural college. Students have already planted fruit trees and restored herbaceous borders and paths, and the grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund will make it possible to restore six glasshouses and a gardener's cottage.
