Father won't pay? Then punish the mother
Article Abstract:
The UK Child Support Agency has failed in its efforts to ensure that fathers who are living apart from their children pay maintenance for the upkeep of their children. Indeed, it appears that many absent fathers will never have to pay any maintenance at all. In contrast, the Child Support Agency has decided to take tougher action against single mothers who refuse to cooperate with it, removing 40% of their benefit. Absent fathers are being supported in their opposition to the Child Support Agency by a number of organisations.

Buying more than just a good education
Article Abstract:
Many independent schools seem to like to give the impression that the children they educate will benefit from a 'better' social ethos. In fact, children educated in the private sector often pick up racist, snobbist attitudes, and this background will not equip them well for the real world. It is now time for independent schools to truly reflect the changes which have taken place in the world outside.
