Then there's always Hong Kong
Article Abstract:
ATTA Associates, the London unit of a Hong Kong-based property company, specialises in marketing British homes to potential purchasers in the Far East. It emphasises that, contrary to widely-held beliefs, Far Eastern purchasers are not only interested in new properties in central London, and that there is considerable demand for both older properties and for those situated outside central London. The company charges an initial marketing fee, then a 2% agency fee if the property is sold.

Instant home: just add people
Article Abstract:
House developers are now putting a lot of effort into the design and furnishing of their show homes. They have become aware that an attractive show home will help to sell other houses on the site, and there is also the possibility that someone will purchase the show home with all its furniture and fittings. Show homes used to be decorated in very plain colours and furnished with standard equipment, but now top quality fabrics, decorations and furniture are being used.

The high life en famille
Article Abstract:
Families in the UK have traditionally lived in houses rather than flats, because there have usually been enough houses available. However, space in urban areas is now in very short supply, and many families may now have to start learning to live in flats, as is already common in countries such as France. This can be successful as long as there is good outdoor space nearby where children can play.
