Feel like I'm fixin' for a comeback ...
Article Abstract:
Singer Country Joe McDonald recognizes that he is closely associated with the Vietnam war. This is particularly because of his appearance at Woodstock, through which he became known to a wider audience. He is probably most remembered for his band, Country Joe and the Fish, but his most famous song, 'Feel Like I'm Fixin' to Die Rag,' was first recorded in 1965, several years before the band was formed. He is shortly to play his first show in the UK since the late 1970s.

Mighty like a mother
Article Abstract:
Pop musicians Ray Mighty and Rob Smith enjoyed considerable success in the late 1980s following the release of the single 'Walk On By' on their own label. They were subsequently signed up by London Records, but the release of a planned album, 'Bass is Maternal,' was cancelled at a late stage. They are now hoping to see a revival, having formed their own label. They are working to promote the launch of an album under the same name.
