Fire and Ice
Article Abstract:
Militant rap star Ice-T is controversial because he expresses the anger of America's poor and complains about injustice. He gave a warning about the riots which happened after the Los Angeles police officers were acquitted in the Rodney King trial in Apr 1992. Ice-T was born Tracy Marrow. He belonged to a street gang and took part in robberies before he discovered rapping. His hard rock record 'Cop Killer' made in summer 1992 lost Warner Bros advertising revenue as it was considered corrupting.

Giving - but only to a good cause
Article Abstract:
The town of Buxton, west Derbyshire, has been identified in a recent survey as the most generous charity-supporting town in Britain. Its residents are pleased that the town has gained recognition for more than its most well-known features, which are its high altitude and its fresh spring water. They believe that most northern people are generous, and that Buxton benefits from attracting many tourists.
