Forget the fox, pity the pig
Article Abstract:
The issue of whether fox hunting should be banned continues to receive a great deal of attention in the UK. In fact, relatively few foxes are killed by hunts, and most of those that are killed are old and diseased. More attention should be given to pig farming, as pigs are kept in very spartan conditions and enjoy no real quality of life. However, most people would prefer not to think about this, as they are not prepared to pay more for pork products from pigs kept in better conditions.
