Article Abstract:
The 450 million pounds sterling British Library in London, England, which is due to open in 1997, has attracted much criticism. However, it will until mid-Nov 1996 act as the main representative for UK architectural culture at the Venice Biennale, a key event for architects from around the world. It is likely that a much more positive view of the British Library will emerge as a result of this exhibition.
