From Muffin the Mule to the satellite kids
Article Abstract:
There have been dramatic changes in approaches to children's television programmes since BBC Television Children's Programmes began broadcasting in 1946. Some observers feel that children's programmes now contain far too much action, thus reducing their ability to concentrate, while others feel that many programmes are very superficial, relying on slapstick-style humour. However, supporters of modern children's programmes point out that these programmes now thoroughly involve children, having abandoned their often patronising tone.

No queues, no road rage, no contest
Article Abstract:
Riding a motorbike can be dangerous, but many people still choose to do so because it is a lot more convenient and cheaper than travelling by car. People riding a motorbike are able to avoid traffic jams, can park easily and feel that they have control over the urban environment, rather than being controlled by it. It is not necessary to have a very powerful motorbike, as even a small one can overtake slow-moving traffic in towns and cities.

A driving passion
Article Abstract:
There has been a revival in the popularity of golf in the UK over recent years. This is mainly taking place among people aged over 55, with fewer and fewer younger people taking up golf. This trend has prompted the Golf Foundation to open 223 centres designed to encourage those aged under 18 to learn golf. It is worth taking golf lessons, even though these can be very expensive. It is also necessary to practice on a driving range.
