Getting wired to the Web
Article Abstract:
Those who wish to use the Internet must have a computer, a modem and an Internet service provider (ISP). When choosing an ISP, ensure that it offers local call access and an electronic mail address. It is also worth checking whether the ISP makes available free web space. Finding information on the Internet can be fun initially, but many users will find it even more enjoyable to publish for themselves. This involves uploading files to the ISP's computer, from where they will be constantly available to anyone else wishing to view them.

Be careful. Your boss is watching you
Article Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly common in the UK for companies to monitor Internet and electronic mail activity by their employees. In some cases, companies are restricting employees to sending messages to approved corporate clients or are preventing employees from visiting specific areas of the World Wide Web. These developments are being opposed by Internet freedom groups, which are particularly concerned about company monitoring of electronic mail.
