Global warming much worse than predicted, say scientists

Global warming is a serious problem already and could have disastrous consequences for mankind, according to a report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. The panel's scientists now believe that global temperatures will rise by as much as 5.8 deg C by the end of the 21st century.
