Go mad and live a little
Article Abstract:
Risk perception varies from one individual to another, and no investment is totally risk free, though risk can be analysed and weighted. Savings and loan associations can go bankrupt, leaving investors with the minimum compensation. Acceptable risk levels vary with age and younger people are able to take more risks, while older people cannot afford to lose pension funds before retirement. Equities involve more risk, but also perform better than savings and loan society accounts involving less risk.

Be prepared - and scout around for the best premium
Article Abstract:
It is becoming increasingly widely recognized by ordinary people in the UK that life insurance is vital if you have dependants and outstanding loans. The least expensive form of life insurance is term assurance, which involves a policy that will pay out an agreed amount in the event of your death. Term assurance can be a better option than other investment-linked forms of life cover. It is advisable to choose a policy with guaranteed premiums that will not rise over the term.
