The reasons why writer and Hispanophile Gerard Brenan, who died in Spain in 1987, has only just been buried are discussed. He had connections with several places in Spain, and there was conflict over where he should be buried.

John Prebble

Writer John Prebble was born in Edmonton, England, in 1915. He became a journalist before specializing in radar engineering during the second world war. His best work, 'Culloden,' was published in 1961.
