Harpo struck me dumb
Article Abstract:
The character of Harpo Marx represented complete freedom, according to cellist Steven Isserlis. He first came across Harpo Marx in the 1929 film 'The Cocoanuts,' which he saw when he was around 13 or 14 years old. After that, he became obsessed with the character, even going as far as to refuse to talk for long periods because he wanted to mime everything. He had attended public school, and was therefore particularly attracted to the rebellious side of Harpo Marx. He also liked the fact that Harpo Marx was a lover of music.

Filthy rich and on the hoof
Article Abstract:
The recent Tattersalls' 1996 Houghton Yearling Sales attracted a number of wealthy purchasers, and thoroughbred horses to the value of 7,136,850 pounds sterling were sold. The racing world has been affected by the recession over recent years, but there are now strong signs of a recovery. There is a strong social tradition associated with thoroughbred horse sales, with purchasers often wishing to make themselves as inconspicuous as possible.
