The Spice of sudden fame
Article Abstract:
Celebrities have now become part of everyday life in the UK, appearing in many newspapers, magazines and television advertisements. It is now common for people to become a celebrity for a simple act of foolishness or bravery, but this status may only last a very short time.

Let's play hunt the famous
Article Abstract:
People who stalk celebrities believe themselves to be in love with the celebrity concerned, and then take extreme action to make the celebrity love them in return. In a way, their intrusive behaviour towards the celebrity mirrors the way in which celebrities intrude through the media into the lives of ordinary people. The process of stalking forces the victim into a relationship with the stalker, and this makes the stalker feel successful.

Article Abstract:

There are currently around 6,000 languages in the world, but most are spoken only by very small numbers of people.
