Helen Guiterman
Article Abstract:
Designer, art collector, historian and benefactor Helen Guiterman obtained a Diploma in Fine Art from the Slade School, London, England, in 1936. She reorganized the photographic records in the publications department of the Tate Gallery between 1945 and 1947, and then joined the architect's department of Middlesex County Council as an interior designer. She moved to the London Borough of Haringey following the 1965 local government reorganization. She was particularly involved in designing colour schemes for school and accommodation projects.

E.H.H. Archibald
Article Abstract:
Museum curator and writer Edward Archibald read History at Trinity College, Cambridge, England, and during this time began collecting 17th-century portraits, rare books, glass and armour. He joined the picture department of the National Maritime Museum in May 1952, and was to become a key element in the museum's expertise in oils. His work including reattributing many of the Palmer Collection of early Dutch pictures. He published several books, including a 'Dictionary of Sea Painters.'

Ted Wright
Article Abstract:
Archaeologist and businessman Ted Wright was born in Elloughton, England, in 1918. He studied Greats at Christ Church, Oxford, England, and was commissioned in the East Riding Yeomanry in 1940. He discovered three sewn-plank prehistoric boats in Yorkshire, England.
