Article Abstract:
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is to dedicate its second-largest temple in the world near Preston, England, on Jun 7, 1998. The new temple has been open to visitors already, and has attracted more than 100,000 people. They have included American descendants of the first Mormon missionaries. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been expanding rapidly in the UK at a time when attendance at Anglican churches has declined dramatically.

Article Abstract:
It is very common for romantic novelists to use a rural clergyman having an affair as their theme. This subject seems to attract particular interest, possibly because clergymen often seem different from ordinary people and very out of reach in romantic terms. Clergymen are often very attractive to women who feel vulnerable and lonely. Furthermore, clergymen often find a lot of depth and beauty in people, making these people feel special and cared for.
