Hizbollah killings blow truce to shreds
Article Abstract:
Israel has retaliated for a Hizbollah attack which killed five Israeli occupation troops and wounded a further six by firing shells across Lebanon. This led to the death of a Lebanese army sergeant and injuries to three civilians. Hizbollah appears to have remained within the terms of the ceasefire agreement negotiated recently by the Israeli government, but Israel seems to have broken it. A ceasefire 'monitoring group' made up of representatives from France, Israel, Lebanon, Syria and the US is not operating.

Hizbollah profits from nation's fury
Article Abstract:
The Hizbollah Islamic resistance movement has traditionally been opposed by many Lebanese, especially those who are not Shia Muslims. However, the recent vicious Israeli attacks on Lebanon have served to greatly boost support for Hizbollah among both Muslims and Christians. Hizbollah members are admired for being determined to stand up to Israel, which has caused extensive deaths among civilians in Lebanon.
