Not just in the comedy camp
Article Abstract:
Kevin Kline believes that actors sometimes have to deliberately shun taste, judgement and self-consciousness. He is growing in stature as he becomes older, rather than fading into obscurity. He has shown a strong ability to switch between drama and comedy, as reflected in Ang Lee's 'The Ice Storm' and Frank Oz's 'In and Out,' his most recent films. He regards himself as a chronic worrier, a character trait which can be very useful for comic roles. He believes that comedy is very important because it allows people to laugh at themselves.

Real man from Rancho Bizarre
Article Abstract:
Actor Patrick Swayze first became a well-known figure after appearing in the films 'Dirty Dancing' and 'Ghost.' In these, he came across as sensitive, caring and unthreatening. He is now seen in a very different light in 'To Wong Foo, Thanks For Everything, Julie Newmar,' in which he plays a motherly transvestite. He has taken a very serious approach this role, as he believes that drag queens have a lot of dignity. Doing this film has allowed him to view his masculinity in new ways.
