Hooray, hooray, for the agent who cares
Article Abstract:
The most successful estate agency businesses are those with employees who are prepared to spend time with clients, both purchasers and vendors. This is reflected in the 1999 Nationwide Estate Agency Office of the Year awards. The overall national winner in the independent sales category was Curtis O'Boyle, which offers an extremely personal service. The overall winner in the corporate sector was Buckle & Ballard in Summertown, Oxford, England. This agency is part of the Bradford & Bingley group, which won a total of seven awards.

Rural life beckons? Opt for renting
Article Abstract:
Renting could be a very attractive option for those seeking to move out of the city to a rural location, especially as there is currently a severe shortage of country properties available for purchase in the UK. It is possible to let out a property in the city and use this income to cover the cost of renting a property in the countryside. This is a less stressful approach than trying to buy a rural property while still living in the city, and allows time for reasoned decisions to be made.
