I dressed the Pope (and Charlie's Angels)
Article Abstract:
The new bi-monthly lifestyle and concept magazine tank will be a forum for artistic dialogue, according to designer Charles de Castelbajac. He does not wish the magazine to be a medium for promoting his name. He comes from an aristocratic background, but has been extensively involved with experimental art. He has collaborated on projects in areas including furniture, photography, music and cinema, and many of the clothes he has designed are now in museums. The new magazine is being launched in collaboration with Michael Lewis, a recent graduate from the St Martin's School of Art in London, England.

Do your trousers suit you, sir?
Article Abstract:
Jeans can vary greatly in price and quality, and it is not always easy to predict whether a pair of jeans is going to be comfortable or long-lasting. Designer jeans can be very expensive, but are not necessarily of superior quality to standard jeans. It is important to consider details such as fabric quality, design and finish as well as how the jeans actually fit. In an independent assessment of jeans from 14 manufacturers, the Levi 501 was thought to be the best.

Trousers come out fighting
Article Abstract:
There is a wide variety of trousers for men on the market, with colourful fabrics and flat fronts replacing traditional dark trouser with a crease. Accordig to Max Plaskow, designer at Designworks, upmarket fashion house, UK designers and tailors have been supplying flat-front grousers since about 1993, but the trend might not necessarily continue. Marks and Spencer is stocking flat fronted trousers, but will also continue to stock traditional trousers.
