I never through I'd say it, but I'm beginning to like London
Article Abstract:
London, England, often seems inhospitable, with too much traffic, poor public transportation, and too impersonal and large. London seen through the eyes of an Irish schoolboy offered images of naked women which were both horrifying and delightful. London also has connotations of loneliness for Irish migrants who feel exiled and do not belong in London. Yet London can be enjoyable, and it is best perceived as a number of distinct villages. The river Thames is also an attraction, and there are many Irish people who see London as their home.

Thank you, Lady Thatcher, for making me angry again
Article Abstract:
Former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher appears to personify the virtue of speaking in a forthright manner in an era when it is hard to identify what anybody in political life really believes. However, it is important to remember that plain-speaking cannot always be equated with honesty. It can be argued that, with regard to former Chilean dictator General Augusto Pinochet, she is unable to see the truth.
