I want to be forty
Article Abstract:
Many people try to avoid looking their age when they reach their 40s. Women in particular are keen to look as they did when they were in their 20s or 30s, and may even resort to cosmetic surgery to halt the ageing process. However, there are ways in which becoming 40 is actually a positive thing. Those who are in their 40s have a past, which gives them a sense of importance, and are experienced in dealing with relationships. They have developed a realistic sense of the future, and do not feel that they simply have to live up to others' expectations.

Boredom: the seven-week itch
Article Abstract:
Many parents feel that they have to keep their children constantly occupied during the school summer holidays. They invest a great deal of time and money in activities which they believe their children will find interesting, and feel that they have failed if their children complain of feeling bored. It can be argued that this is a misguided approach. Children can actually benefit from having time to themselves, and keeping them constantly occupied prevents them from discovering what they really want to do.
