I was a Tantric sex slave
Article Abstract:
June Campbell, who spent 10 years as a nun in a Tibetan monastery and became personal translator to Kalu Rinpoche, one of the most holy monks in Tibetan Buddhism, believes that it was necessary for her to break away completely in order to be herself. She now feels that the Tantric sex in which the guru persuaded her to become involved was a kind of abuse. She questions the view that the religious techniques taught by the Buddha can be separated from the oppressive, sexist culture of many Buddhist countries.
