In a perfect world, some of you must die
Article Abstract:
The humanitarian ethic, which highlights the sanctity of human life, is already adapting to rapid population growth, although mainly in disguised ways. It is clear that there are serious imbalances in the world, with people in Third World countries dying of starvation while farmers in developing countries are paid to leave fields fallow. These imbalances challenge the humanitarian ethic, suggesting that some population groups are inferior to others. It appears that society will continue to promote the humanitarian ethic, while also giving consideration to the concept of eradicating undesirable types.

The game of life
Article Abstract:
The successful management of game birds involves many different aspects of countryside and wildlife management. Game-keepers work closely with the farming community on issues such as hedge cutting, field margins and the spraying of herbicides and insecticides, and play a key role in rural life. They cooperate in controlling predators such as foxes and rabbits, and can ensure a healthy balance between raptors and corvids. Game management is an important element in the protection of natural habitats against the intrusion of urban life.
