Truly, madly, deeply
Article Abstract:
Gurus come in many different forms, and can attract a wide range of different people. This raises questions about where their influence comes from and whether they actually have a valid message. Recent research undertaken by Anthony Storr indicates that gurus may in fact have a lot more in common than has traditionally been believed. A guru who holds very extreme views is not necessarily untrustworthy, but those who are very self-absorbed should be view with scepticism.

Learning to live in a twilight zone
Article Abstract:
Over half of new graduates do not find permanent work but take lower-skilled work or continue studying. Taking a year off is unpopular. Many graduates have debts they wish to pay off and they do not wish to miss any jobs which arise. Professions increasingly become exclusive to graduates and employers are committed to graduate recruitment. Maths and economics graduates have the least unemployment.
