Article Abstract:
The Swiss Bankers' Association has published a list of 1,872 names of non-Swiss residents who opened 1,756 accounts before 1945 which have remained untouched since. It plans to publish a larger list by Oct 1997, covering up to 20,000 Swiss holders of dormant accounts from before 1945. This move has been welcomed, but some observers feel that the Swiss authorities have made very little effort to track down the account-holders or to assist others in doing so. There is a feeling that the banks must be holding more information about these account-holders, as they would not have opened an account purely on the basis of a name.

The thankless task of caring for a Hollywood babe
Article Abstract:
Being nanny to a celebrity's child may seem to be a glamorous job, but can in fact be very challenging. It can be particularly difficult to work for a film star. Many actors and actresses have a very high opinion of themselves, and tend not to take much account of the feelings of their employees. Their nannies are expected to work very long hours and to cope with sudden changes of plan. Reputable nanny agencies would not select a nanny who is star-struck by parents or their famous friends.

All part of life's lottery
Article Abstract:
There are a number of examples in the UK of how having a very large win on the National Lottery can bring the winner many difficulties. Most recently, attention has been drawn to the case of Ernie Bailey, who won 11 million pounds sterling in Apr 1995 and has now died. Some observers attribute his death to excessive consumption of cigarettes and takeaway food. Some people handle a large lottery win very well, but others find that they lose more than they gain.
