It's socialism Tony, but not as you know it
Article Abstract:
Tony Benn, traditionally seen as representing the views of Old Labour, has recently become a popular public figure, seeming to echo the sentiments of many ordinary people. He has criticised Labour party leader Tony Blair, claiming that the new party leadership lacks socialist ideals. These attitudes are being welcomed and even encouraged by the Conservative party, which likes to see Tony Blair under attack but does not believe that Tony Benn will ever be a serious threat.

The Stupid Party saves Tony Blair
Article Abstract:
There are few people in modern UK society who could really be classified as true intellectuals. The Labour party in particular has been short of strong thinkers over recent years. It is now trying to address this problem, and is encouraging serious intellectual thought about how the UK should be modernised. In certain areas, there are clear signs of the influence of Conservative thinking, while in others there is independent thought and a strong sense of self-confidence.

It's going to be close, and only you know how close
Article Abstract:
It is widely assumed that the UK Conservative party has very little chance at all of winning the next general election. However, there are many examples of times when opinion polls have been misleading in the past, and it is very possible that many people who will actually vote Conservative did not reveal their true intentions to pollsters. Many people dislike the Conservative party, but may still vote Conservative out of a desire to see continued economic recovery.
