Jean Mercure and Jandeline

Actor, theatre producer and director Pierre Libermann, known as Jean Mercure, began his acting career in 1934, with his first notable appearance being in Gaston Baty's revival of 'The Threepenny Opera' in 1937. He appeared in many plays with his wife Aline Jeannerot, known as Jandeline. He gained a reputation as a playwright and director, and they often took their productions on tour around the world. They retired in 1986, and committed suicide together on Jun 24, 1998.

Juzo Itami

Actor, film director and writer Yoshihiro Ikeuchi, known as Juzo Itami, joined the Daiei film company as an actor when he moved to Tokyo, Japan, in 1960. He specialized in supporting roles. He left this job in 1961, and began to write literary essays. He took up supporting roles again in 1964 when he joined Nikkatsu Movie Co, and in 1984 was able to script and direct his first successful cinema film, 'Ososhiki.'

Nakamura Utaemon VI

Kabuki actor Nakamura Utaemon VI was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1917. He trained from an early age, making his stage debut at the age of five. He took his stage family name in 1951.
