He is determined to stand up to the protesters, and believes that it will not be long before his fellow farmers refuse to be intimidated any more.

Fury as live exports ban is lifted

The High Court decision that the port of Dover acted illegally in banning live animal traders is likely to spark off large-scale disruption by protesters at the port. Bans on live animal exports which had been imposed at Coventry airport and the port of Plymouth have also been declared illegal. The ruling ensures that the live animal trade will be able to continue for the foreseeable future.
