Kabila pays for failure to deliver
Article Abstract:
Congolese President Laurent Kabila faces an uncertain future. He has failed to fulfill the expectations of the United Nations and the US in relation to human rights, and had also alienated the political elite within Congo because he has failed to make progress towards a more open political system. Ordinary people are also losing faith in him because their living standards have not improved. He has alienated Rwanda, Uganda and Angola by failing to bring about regional security.
