Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Broadcasting House
Article Abstract:
Broadcasting House houses the British Broadcasting Corp and was opened in 1932. The studios are house in a core with the services and offices in an outer ring. The building was the first of its kind to be specifically geared to broadcasting. The windows were criticised at the time for being too small, but the interiors were popular. The interiors have since been changed, and the building was damaged by a bomb in the 1939 to 1945 war.
