Land of milk, honey and hi-tech
Article Abstract:
A flourishing information technology (IT) industry has emerged in Israel. Indeed, IT now represents around 30% of Israel's exports and 7% of GDP. IT has been boosted by the skills brought into the country by the very large wave of immigration of Diaspora Jews from Russia and eastern Europe and by the peace process. IT companies are now very concerned about the future of the peace process, as political instability would be very damaging to their business.
