Has Bill Clinton become a stain on the office of presidency?
Article Abstract:
Many ordinary Americans refuse to accept the possibility that President Bill Clinton could be forced to resign if it is established that he had an affair with Monica Lewinsky. They feel that he has not committed a crime, and that lying about sex should not be regarded as perjury. However, constitutionalists feel that Clinton has diminished the office of the presidency, regardless of whether he broke the law or not. It is clear that he has flouted rules which ordinary Americans are expected to observe.

The post-Monica presidency
Article Abstract:
It appears that President Bill Clinton has been able to re-establish his credibility following the scandal surrounding his relationship with Monica Lewinsky. In fact, Clinton may never have really lost his credibility. He has been able to rise above controversy about the impact of Nato military action against Serbia, and it seems likely that the conflict in Kosovo, Yugoslavia, will help to restore the moral element to his presidency.
