Article Abstract:
There will be considerable tension in Northern Ireland as the Ulster Unionists decide whether to accept the peace deal proposed by UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, under which they would be in the same government as Sinn Fein. Initial impressions suggest that ordinary Protestants may be more positive about the deal than Ulster Unionist assembly members. However, it will probably take some time for a settled Protestant view to emerge.
