Marie-Louise von Franz
Article Abstract:
Analytical psychologist Marie-Louise von Franz showed very strong intellectual ability at an early age. She studied for a doctorate in classical languages at the University of Zurich, Switzerland, and took on her first client at the age of 41. She discovered that the only effective way to work with a client was to work on the material of both her outer and her inner life. Her model for therapy was to keep everything open and alive and to have no set rules.
