The complete guide to Britain's national parks
Article Abstract:
Some of the UK's national parks are very close to major cities. Indeed, one third of the population of England lives less than an hour from the Peak District national park, which covers parts of six counties. Most people visit national parks to walk, and some of the national parks have well-known long-distance walks running through them. There is a wide range of accommodation within national park areas, and it is also possible to camp.
