Article Abstract:
The opening of the new Centre for Visual Arts in Cardiff, Wales, has been accompanied by a range of publicity initiatives, including an art treasure hunt and an eye-catching logo. There are two opening exhibitions: an installation by US artist Jessica Stockholder and a group show entitled Superstructure featuring the work of nine contemporary Welsh artists. In spring 2000, both of the centre's galleries will be devoted to Welsh wood-sculptor David Nash.
