Confessions of an unfaithful TV director
Article Abstract:
Television and film director Philip Saville has gained a reputation for original work, and is particularly well known for contemporary small-screen drama. He has recently attracted considerable controversy with 'The Buccaneers,' a five-part adaptation of the Edith Wharton novel about a Victorian romance. It contains events which are not present in the original text, but Saville believes that he is justified in including them.
