Please stop this torturing of the unfortunate Prince of Wales
Article Abstract:
It is possible to feel considerable sympathy for Prince Charles, who has already waited too long to become King and will probably have to wait another 10 years. He will eventually come to the throne at a time in his life when most people are retiring, and the long wait will not have been worthwhile. He comes across as awkward and vulnerable, and there is a strong sense that his life is unfulfilled. It is impossible for him to really see how others regard him, as he is either ridiculed by the tabloid press or praised excessively by most of those he meets every day.

Wicked, banal, evil - but is there a bit of Eichmann in all of us?
Article Abstract:
Adolf Eichmann, who was executed in Israel in 1962 for crimes during the second world war, was an ordinary man who was not particularly anti-Semitic. However, he organized an extremely efficient operation for rounding up and exterminating vast numbers of Jews. His case highlights the possibility of horrific crimes being committed by quite ordinary people. His experiences suggest that, where terrible behaviour is condoned by authority, many ordinary people could become responsible for murder.
