Portrait of Ireland
Article Abstract:
Property prices have risen significantly in Ireland over recent years, but the Irish property market continues to offer good value. Many British purchasers are attracted to Ireland because it offers a quality of life no longer found in the UK. Furthermore, improved transport links make it more feasible to reach remote parts of Ireland. It is possible to purchase a second-hand flat in Dublin, Ireland, for around 80,000 pounds sterling, while a new flat costs around 100,000 pounds sterling.

Don't blame the removalists...
Article Abstract:
Problems with moving house are often attributed to the removal company, but this is in fact rarely the case. More often, problems are caused by some form of greed or carelessness, usually on the part of the vendors. In some cases, the property into which the client is moving may have been damaged by neglect, or the vendor may have maliciously removed items such as light fittings. It is also quite common for empty properties to have been the target of thieves.
