Pulp faction's rising star
Article Abstract:
Improvisation is not necessarily the best approach to producing successful music, according to songwriter and singer Simon Warner. He spent a long time in unsuccessful indie bands in the 1980s, but his career began improving when he gave up drinking and became inspired by Jacques Brel. He assembled an orchestra and learned the art of orchestration from Richard Benbow. He began to gain popularity when the musical climate changed in his favour.

Article Abstract:
Some reggae music naturally has rather sad overtones, according to reggae singer Horace Andy, especially if it uses minor keys a lot. He has worked for many different record companies, and his music appears on a large number of various artists compilations. More recently, he has released an album of his own, entitled 'Skylarking.' This is the first release on Massive Attack's new Melankolic imprint.
