Refugees set their sights on Britain
Article Abstract:
Refugees are being held at a factory in Calais, France, by French authorities. They are seeking to travel to Britain, and most claim to have come from Kosovo, Yugoslavia. The number of refugees has dropped to some 400 from 4,000. Some of the refugees appear to have come from Albania rather than Kosovo, but they are more likely to be permitted to settle in a western country if they claim to have come from Kosovo. Refugees often attempt to smuggle themselves into Britain by hiding in trucks, according to truckers.

'One morning, while it was still dark, Serbs brought bodies and buried them.'
Article Abstract:
MNato troops are uncovering evidence that Serbian soldiers murdered ethnic Albanians in Podujevo, Kosovo, Yugoslavia, which for a long time was the symbol of Kosovo Albanian resistance to the Serbs. Local ethnic Albanians report that most of the killings took place in Apr 1999, but that there were a few more subsequently. They also state that there are still bodies lying out in the hills surrounding the city. Some victims were killed by the Serbs, while others died of starvation.
