Resurrection
Article Abstract:
Songwriter Jim Webb is extremely talented, according to singer and guitarist Glen Campbell, whose career really took off when he began working with Webb. He is planning to begin recording a new album with Webb shortly, but is currently on tour in the UK. He has influenced many younger musicians, including Nick Cave and Prefab Sprout, but seems oblivious to this. Indeed, he has never really attempted to be fashionable, and regards himself simply as a musician who looks for good chord progression and melody.

Lucky Jim
Article Abstract:
Pop group James was one of the most popular groups in the UK in the late 1980s and early 1990s. However, the group seemed to lose direction after the successful album 'Gold Mother,' and attracted little positive response to its 1994 album 'Wah Wah.' This prompted a restructuring of its working methods, and singer Tim Booth became involved in other projects. The group is now making a comeback with the album 'Whiplash,' which is possibly its best so far.
