Ronson's return
Article Abstract:
It was widely anticipated that businessman Gerald Ronson would be very negatively affected by having to spend time in prison after he was convicted for his role in the Guinness scandal. However, this has not proved to be the case. He has taken steps to reestablish a presence in the property market in London, England, and has now undertaken a 250 million pounds sterling deal for eight key investment properties in the West End and the City. It appears that he thrived during the six months he spent in prison, mainly because of his humble background, and has benefited from the fact that he owned up to what he had done.

Evensong for the sisterhood
Article Abstract:
Religious communities in the UK are now finding it very hard to attract new recruits. More than 2,500 sisters have been lost from the country's 200 orders since 1985, and almost half of the remaining 8,000 nuns are more than 70 years old. Some orders are now evolving new models which allow shorter periods of religious commitment.
