Actress Nora Rosamund Jones, known as Rosamund John, attended the Embassy School of Acting. She took on small stage roles after spending a year in France at the age of 19, and then worked in repertory. She first came to public attention through her leading role in the 1942 film 'The First of the Few.' She played the starring role in the 1943 film 'The Lamp Still Burns,' and became increasingly popular through films including 'Tawny Pipit' and 'The Way to the Stars.'

Actress Josephine Hutchinson appeared in the 1917 film 'The Little Princess' as a child, and subsequently studied drama and dance in Seattle. She made her stage debut as a dancer in 'The Little Mermaid' in 1920. Her film debut came with the 1934 film 'Happiness Ahead' with Dick Powell. She was released by Warners in 1937, and then undertook a range of freelance work, including radio acting. She returned to films with the 1946 film 'Somewhere in the Night.'
