Saint or a Disney star
Article Abstract:
There have been many contradictory reactions to the events which have followed the death of Diana, Princess of Wales. Many people have criticized the role which tabloid journalism apparently played in the accident in which she died, for example, but have also been keen to buy newspapers containing special tributes to her. Those who never knew her personally have been expressing deep emotions in public, while her immediate family have kept their emotions hidden. There has been a wide range of iconography as people have tried to find ways of paying tribute to her.

Even the Queen can be the target of bullying
Article Abstract:
Public pressure from people mourning the death of Diana, Princess of Wales, on the Queen to express her emotions in public is a reflection of the fact that many ordinary people have not accepted that different people may express their feelings in different ways. It is important to be aware that public sentiment can be a negative force, with the views and feelings of minorities being ignored. Public reaction to this tragedy indicates that people are no longer greatly concerned to keep the monarchy in place at all costs.
