Secret of how to relax and be happy
Article Abstract:
Research conducted by the British Psychological Society, has revealed that people who enjoy dancing are those who achieve the highest levels of happiness. The research looked at 270 adults and the positive emotions which were induced when partaking in four leisure pursuits. Leisure is an extremely important part of people's happiness and the research looked at music, churchgoing, sport/exercise, watching soap operas on the television, as well as work and family activities. Results showed that those partaking in exercise and especially dancing were the happiest. This is because it combined exercise with sociability and music. Watching television was found not to be particularly good at making people happy. People of different nationalities were found to have varying levels of happiness with more than 50% of Danes being contented with their lives compared to 30% of Britons.
