Article Abstract:
The Dean Gallery in Edinburgh, Scotland, converted from the Greek Revival building that originally housed the Dean Orphan Hospital, contains some very high quality art. This includes what was the Surrealist collection of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. However, the gallery is dominated by the works of sculptor Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, who was born in Edinburgh. There are not actually very many of these works, but their presence is pervasive and structural.
