Services are more in tune with women's needs
Article Abstract:
Some hotels are now making more effort to meet the needs of women travelling alone, but standards of service can still vary considerably. Women still feel that they are treated with less consideration than men, but they are often unwilling to complain. Businesswomen can also feel very vulnerable when travelling alone to countries where attitudes to women may be very different from those to which they are accustomed. In this situation, it is worth contacting Women Welcome Women, which offers social contacts for women travelling alone.
